Sometimes a tree looks small enough to take down yourself.  A word of caution, there are hazards present in residential settings such as powerlines.

1. Working around those can result in destruction to property, serious injury or even death.
2. Just because it seems easy on youtube does not mean it is.
3. We spoke to someone who tried to cut down a small ornamental tree with a chainsaw and almost cut through his entire leg.  Luckily he can still walk.
